ForMilan Fashion Week 2024, Aelion oversaw the technical and artistic direction of “Kontatto and the City,” the event marking the official debut of the Bologna-based brand in Milan. For this production, we transformed the prestigiousPalazzo del Ghiacciointo an immersive environment, where the historic architecture was reimagined through a highly emotional visual and sound project.
The fashion show unfolded around aK-shaped catwalk, the brand’s initial, designed by Kontatto. We created an integrated lighting, video, and sound system around the catwalk. We curated theoriginal soundtrack, designed to accompany the show in a narrative, rhythmic, and elegant way.
For thelighting design, we designed a system capable of enhancing both the stage layout and the location’s historic architecture, ensuring visibility and atmosphere throughout the show. The event’s entrance was highlighted by animmersive tunnelcreated using video mapping, while a series ofLED wallssupported the brand’s visual identity and enhanced the overall visual impact.
AELION also managed thetechnical coordination of suppliersand the operational supervision of the installation, ensuring smooth production and aesthetic consistency.
Finally, we supportedmedia productionduring the event, documenting the key moments and offering an integrated contribution to brand communication for the various television channels.
