For Artigitale 2017, we created “Illo Tempore”, an architectural video mapping on the façade of the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, one of the most important churches in the area.

More than a simple projection, the work was conceived as a true 3D animated documentary: based on the research of historian Lucio Taraborelli, we retraced 800 years of the Church’s evolution, showcasing the architectural transformations and artistic treasures donated by noble families over the centuries. The visual narrative, enriched by photographic artifacts and digitized works of art, was made immersive by the narrative voice of Icks Borea and the original soundtrack by sound designer Francesco Angelini, transforming the façade into a bridge between historical memory and digital innovation.
