In September 2022, we brought “The Greatest Show” to life,KONTATTO‘s ambitious fashion show-event that transformedBologna’s Centergrossshopping center into a dreamlike and vibrant stage. Under the iconic Togni family tent, we orchestrated a full-scale production inspired by Federico Ballandi’s vision, blending fashion with circus performance and the energy of The Kolors to transport the audience into an atmosphere of childhood wonder.
Aelion oversaw every phase of the project, from technical setup to fashion show coordination and direction. For thelighting design, we designed and installed two concentric circular trusses, 12 and 6 meters in height, suspended on different levels at the center of the tent. On this complex structure, we mounted72 projectors in synergywith two laser systems, creating geometric interweavings of light beams that followed the rhythm of the circular catwalk, enveloping models and acrobats in a dynamic and engaging play of light.
In addition to the set design and soundtrack, our studio took on the technical direction and logistical coordination of the entire event, managing the complexity of the partners involved and ensuring flawless direction. The grandeur of the show was documented and broadcast inreal time through a multi-channel live streamon social media and TeleRomagna, coordinating a team of four videographers and the use of adronefor aerial footage. Work continued in the following days with the production ofphoto reports and optimized video content, consolidating the impact of the social media campaign and celebrating the success of the fashion show.
