For the 2025 edition of We Make Future, we created an immersive space dedicated to exploring the connections between interaction design, artificial intelligence, and generative visual systems.
ENTER THE VOID is an interactive installation that integrates video mapping, real-time interaction, and motion tracking.
Using Kinect, the system detects the position and movement of the audience within the tunnel, generating dynamic generative visual content that reacts and adapts to users’ behavior. The environment is entirely enveloped in synchronized projections, which transform in response to body movements, creating an immersive space with a strong visual impact. Each gesture triggers a variation in the computer graphics, making the experience multi-user, non-linear, and always different. Interaction becomes part of the narrative: the space shapes itself around the viewer, transforming the journey into a fluid and personalized experience.
An interactive system that integrates TouchDesigner, interaction design, and generative AI to produce unique visual content based on the user’s presence.
A webcam detects and outlines the human figure in real time, which is then processed by AI models according to predefined prompts. The result is an original, personalized visual output, generated live.
Interaction control is managed via Stream Deck, while the technical pipeline is optimized by Stable Diffusion, ensuring fluidity, visual quality, and responsiveness even in high-traffic environments.
The AI Photobooth is designed for events, exhibitions, and trade fair environments. The system enhances the interaction between the public and technology, transforming every gesture into creative content.
