Aelion completed an innovativedigital restorationfor the Church of San Francesco in Guardiagrele. Starting from historical photographs, we reconstructed a lost fresco through digital illustrations projected via3D video mappingon the portal. The project, along with theIllo Temporeshow, celebrated the fusion of historical memory and digital arts during the Artigitale festival.
We also created an architectural video mapping project onPorta San Giovanniin Guardiagrele. The work transformed the monument into a 3D sequence of artisanal materials (iron, wood, ceramic), accompanied by sound design by Francesco Angelini. The highlight was the integration of alive blacksmithing performance, where two local blacksmiths worked iron under the projected arch, creating a perfect bridge between digital art and manufacturing tradition.
